Attachments are not versioned nor do they show the author. While this is not really necessary, it would be nice.
Generate output to a accessible directory on the web server, rather than "attaching" to the wiki page. This would eliminate the above issues too. As the .dat and .png files are both generated on the sever (in the container's temp directory) it would be simpler to just save them in an accessible location in the container's document root.
