Gadgets are cool and when they are new and shiny everybody loves them but then they break or become somewhat obsolete. This is sad and the goal of the gadget encyclopedia would be to help match the abilities of gadgets with cool projects.

One great end goal would be to be able to find a set of gadgets that can be combined to offer specific features.

There is a lot older and capable hardware that could be useful again. How can we reuse old hardware?

A mindmap seems useful to chart gadgets and features before a precise and accurate model/database can be developed (or another tool that can deal with variability can be found). Here is the mindmap.
